Notes: The Hood jam is one of my favorites to play over. You can certainly just noodle melodically over these chords, but the progression (D – A – G – G) gives you something to sink your teeth into if you want. In particular, you can find some lines that descend through the three chords, creating melodic patterns to build melodies with.
