Notes: The general gist of this jam is C mixolydian, but much like you see in the melody, what Trey plays often leans a little closer to the blues than a purely modal sound. Some people refer to this as the “mixo-dorian” mode because it includes the minor 3rd, mainly as a passing tone to the major 3rd.
